The company has successfully operated and restored non-hazardous and inert landfill facilities in association with leading blue chip companies such as LAFARGE - Blue Circle, Thames Water, Cape plc and Tarmac.

Jayflex has a proven track record in restoring landfill sites to their natural environment and works closely with the Environment Agency and local authorities to ensure that all landfill facility operations comply with current environmental legislation.

 
   
 
 
Northfleet Landfill Facility, Kent
Since 2001 Jayflex have been operating and restoring the Northfleet landfill facility.
The site has accepted and safely disposed of some 1.1million cubic metres of non-hazardous and inert soils.
The 50-acre site has been restored in phases following the installation of a geo-membrane cap and gas extraction system.
The landfill site is adjacent to the new Ebbsfleet International Station and Jayflex were awarded a £2.8milllion contract by Union Rail to excavate and remove some 55,000 cubic metres of contaminated soils from the trace of the new hi-speed railway link to continental Europe.
The site was completed in late 2009.
Horton Brook Quarry, nr. Heathrow
Jayflex has recently been granted an Environmental Permit for a new landfill at its 150-acre quarry at Colnbrook, (near Heathrow).
The permit allows for the disposal of approx 1.2 million cubic metres of Inert Soils over a 10 year period.
Landfilling at the site is due to commence in 2011.
